Based in Tadley, Hampshire, Jamie Allen is an established teacher pianist, sound technician and composer. He has an extensive portfolio of compositions, arrangements and recordings, across a wide variety of genres. Notable compositions to date include the musical 'Above & Beyond' and works for Big Band and a commision from Basingstoke Academy of Dancing. Jamie teaches piano, keyboard composition and music theory to all ages and all styles at competitive rates, contact Jamie for more details. As a performer Jamie’s principle instruments are piano and alto saxophone, but he also dabbles in drums and bass guitar, amongst other things. He has performed in many venues including Central Studio, Hampton Court Palace and The Royal Albert Hall. Jamie is the pianist for Innovations Jazz Orchestra, a 25-piece Big Band based in Tadley. Aside from his musical passions, Jamie is also an experienced sound engineer. He has been the sound technician for Our Dad at Soul Survivor Festivals from 2005 as well as countless other events across the country. He has also engineered in several professional recording studios, including Coombehurst Studio and Central Studio.
